Alex Kaloostian

Alex is a certified instructor for a full range of Apple products including Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Server, Snow Leopard OS X v10.6, Snow Leopard Server OS X, and Apple XSAN. In addition Alex is a certified Adobe instructor for Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

As an Apple Certified Media Administrator and Apple Certified Technical Coordinator, Alex works regularly with OS X Server, teaches classes on directory service integration, Apple XSAN administration and deployment of editing suites and labs.

Shawn Welch

Apple Certified Instructor

Shawn Welch has designed and developed iOS applications since the launch of the first iPhone in 2007. Most recently, Shawn has taken on the role of iOS designer and developer for Kelby Media Group and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, developing apps for their online training site, Kelbytraining.com, and annual conferences and events such as Photoshop World. A graduate of Kansas State University in Computer Engineering, Shawn has also worked as Senior Media Editor for Digital Strategy for Pearson Higher Education, Arts and Sciences, managing and producing digital technologies and mobile applications for Pearson's college level A&S textbook division.

 

Sylus Green

Apple Certified Instructor

Born to an Art teacher and a Music Teacher, Sylus Green is a self-proclaimed "hippie-kid." As the front man for the band Malachi in Orlando, FL and gained a love for musicianship and sound design, which led him to open Feel Good Music Studios. After opening his studio he began shooting and editing video and fell in love with Premiere Pro and After Effects and has since had his work featured on FOX, Bay News 9 and News 13 Orlando. Sylus has trained professionals from the all walks including US Government, Disney, and University of Central Florida to name a few. With experience in songwriting, and creative writing, Sylus approaches video editing, and motion graphics from a storytelling perspective.

Jason Cox

Apple Certified Instructor

Jason Cox is an Apple Certified Instructor for Final Cut Pro 7, Final Cut Pro X, Motion, and OS X Support Essentials (10.7 & 10.8). Jason is also an Adobe Certified Instructor for Premiere Pro CS 5 & 6. He recently authored the training book, The Final Cut Pro X Cookbook, available from Packt Publishing.

Outside of the training industry, Jason works as a freelance videographer and editor around the Washington, D.C. area. Jason holds a BA in film and video production from Penn State.
